Learning from the origins of tonic water or the classic cola drinks, I wanted to make something that is a great refreshment and also works as a mixer with spirits and liqueurs
I wanted to share a bit about the inspiration behind Toby&Co. I was looking for a soft drink that offered more than just a few simple flavors, sugar, and sparkle. I envisioned something truly entertaining, refreshing, and complex, with greater depth than just one or two obvious fruit or floral notes. Beyond some fine teas and kombuchas, I found there wasn't much available with a complex and elegant taste profile. There was no classic luxury soft drink out there before.
After years of testing, judging, and exploring the functional drinks and soft drink sector, one thing became clear: the world needs a new genre of soft drink. One that’s good for you, good for the planet, and tastes incredible—whether sipped solo or served as a next-generation mixer.
Toby&Co was born from that insight. We set out to create a stand-alone drink and mixer that’s refreshing, versatile, decadent and bursting with natural flavour and complexity - without the artificial sweeteners, preservatives, colourings, or synthetic additives so common in today's market.
