Arriving in Tirol is always full of anticipation, excitement and joy. We have done it many times but it is still magical every year. Austria and Switzerland have always had a special place in our hearts and the local food, culture and history is just great. And they might have some of the best ski slopes around. 

Not sure if it is the clean air or the dramatic mountain roads or passing the snow line and entering an enchanted world, but visiting the Alps is one of our favourite times of the year. 

The Austrian and Swiss Alps are part of the inspiration behind Toby&Co and enjoying our first expression in Switzerland is a bit of a bucket list achievement. The village of Samnaun is at the end of a long ski run in a beautiful valley and cracking open a can of The Green One and having a refreshing drink with friends, surrounded by old mountain houses and pine trees in this village was a very special moment. 

Alpine herbs are known for generations for their health benefits and there’s a great deal of liqueurs made with them, not to mention the many beauty and health products. From sauna oils to famous après drinks, alpine herbs are all over the region and it gave some of the inspiration to Toby&Co.

Talking of that famous herb liqueur, often enjoyed served in a ‘bomb’ form, we are happy to confirm that for people who’d like a bit more than just a loud tasting energy drink but still fancy participating in such après ski rituals, The Green One by Toby&Co works brilliantly served in the aforementioned ‘bomb’ style.
